Warren Middle students participate in leadership training program


WARREN, NJ – On Wednesday, November 17, four seventh grade students from Warren Middle School loaded into a district van with their teacher, Dr. Susan Cooper and made a trip to Central School to participate in their elective E2 class, ” Take on the Road. “

Cooper works with his students to develop their creativity, organizational skills and leadership abilities. For this particular visit to the Central School, Cooper worked with his students and helped them create developmentally appropriate enrichment activities for the younger ones.

The school is ready and excited to teach enrichment classes to Ms. Cartolano’s students-
Gomez’s class. Not only were the students of WMS excited about the day, they were also
delighted to be back at central school. The four students are former students of the central school and three
out of four of them had Cartolano-Gomez as a teacher.

The third grade students in the Cartolano-Gomez class clung to every word of the WMS students and enthusiastically participated in the fall-themed activities presented by the girls.

Cartolano-Gomez said she is proud of her former students and looks forward to their return to Central School in the spring.

“It filled my teacher’s heart with joy to see my former students teaching my current students. They were organized, caring and patient! I am so happy that they returned to their third grade home at Central School, ”she said.
