The Susquehanna Valley Ministry Center (SVMC) offers the TRIM (Training in Ministry) course “Pathways for Effective Leadership, Part 1”, with Randy Yoder as instructor. This is an intensive course that will take place online over two weekends, March 25 and 26 and April 29 and 30.

The SVMC is a partnership of five Brethren Church districts – Northeast Atlantic, South Pennsylvania, Central Pennsylvania, Western Pennsylvania, and Mid-Atlantic – with Bethany Theological Seminary and the Brethren Academy for Ministerial Leadership.

Students in the academy’s TRIM and / or EFSM (Education for a Shared Ministry) programs will receive a ministerial skills credit upon completion. Continuing education students, including accredited ministers and pastors, will receive 2.0 continuing education units. The course is also available to lay people for their personal enrichment.

This course is relevant for full-time and multi-professional ministers. Both parts of the course can be completed individually, although participation in both is highly recommended.
