The Bridge Family Center, based in West Hartford, will host the Parent Leadership Training Institute program starting January 26, 2022.
The Bridge Family Center is now accepting applications for its renowned Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI).
The free 24-session virtual program combines advocacy, leadership and citizenship skills in a program aimed at fostering the best interests of children. Participants learn how they can impact the political system and become effective advocates for children. They will complete a project they are passionate about and attend both a local and statewide graduation.
The program is coordinated by the Family Resource Center beginning in January and ending in June, and is open to parents, grandparents, guardians, or people who live or work in West Hartford and are caring for the children. Meetings will be held virtually on Wednesday evenings starting January 26, 2022.
