Phoenixville Chamber CEO Pursues Leadership Training

PHOENIXVILLE PA — Jessica Capistrant, president and CEO of the Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce, recently completed her second year of nonprofit leadership training at the Washington DC-based Organizations Management Institute. She is able to take classes this summer and is expected to earn her institute designation as a graduate of the University of Arizona, he said.

The institute is the professional development program of the United States Chamber of Commerce. “Institute graduates are recognized across the country as leaders in their industries and organizations,” the organization said, because they “have the knowledge, skills and dedication to succeed on the professional and organizational.

Capistrant takes a four-part, 96-credit-hour course. His summer courses will be completed at the University of Wisconsin (Madison), the University of Georgia (Athens) and locally at Villanova.

The United States Chamber describes itself as the world’s largest business organization representing businesses of all sizes in all sectors of the economy.
