The Paris Small Business Development Center is hosting a seven-session online training course on Lorna Kibbey Leadership Solutions Management and Leadership.
The sessions, which run July 12 through August 23 every Monday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., are designed to help businesses struggling with employee retention, hiring and employee attraction. Paris SBDC invited Lorna Kibbey Leadership Solutions to guide local business owners in driving change in the workplace.
The sessions are: Leading in times of change; The human side of leadership; Delegation: how to do things well; Understanding motivation: the secret to motivating others; The new time management rules; Good person, good time; and Leading a team in a virtual world.
Participants are encouraged to discuss their management issues in the workplace and engage during the question and answer session.
Kibbey is the author of “Becoming A Better Boss”. She has first-hand experience in dealing with the most difficult situations facing managers, having been a leader and manager for over 24 years in the public sector. Lorna received her MBA from the University of South Florida and her BA in Communication Arts from the University of Cincinnati. An active member of the National Speaker’s Association, she was the 2019-2020 Dean of the Florida Speaker’s Association Speakers Academy. She currently serves at Florida State University as an adjunct instructor for the state’s Certified Public Manager program.
