Murray State University presents the Paducah Academy for Nonprofit Development and Leadership created by the University’s Nonprofit Resource Center and Center for Adult and Regional Education. This course will be held at the Murray State Regional Campus in Paducah.
Murray State describes this academy as a leadership training and networking program for nonprofit professionals in the region developed by MSU’s nonprofit leadership faculty, local nonprofit leaders, and leadership consultants. professional.
The program will consist of eight monthly seminars taking place from August to April and focusing on topics such as program development, financial management, support resources, communication, marketing, and more. Those who graduate from the program will receive the Nonprofit Leadership Certificate and CEU (Continuing Education Unit) credit.
The academy promises that participants will gain valuable knowledge and develop leadership skills that they can immediately apply in their organization, as well as the opportunity to network with other nonprofit leaders in their community.
The cost of the academy is $250, which includes a $225 registration fee and a $25 participation fee. The number of places is limited and those interested must apply before July 1 at murraystate.edu/paducah.
Seminars will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the MSU Regional Campus, located at 4430 Sunset Ave. in Paducah. Lunch will be offered at each seminar. The dates are:

There will even be a kickoff for the program on August 2 from 4 to 6 p.m. Graduation will take place in May 2023.
