FG dissolves the board of directors of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Center

President Muhammadu Buhari approved the immediate dissolution of the Board of Directors of the Center for Citizenship and Leadership Training in the Exercise of the President’s Constitutional Powers under Article 5 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) and Section 4 of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centers Act.
The declaration communicating the dissolution was signed on Friday by the Permanent Secretary, General Services Office of the Secretary of the Federation Government, Nnamdi.

The statement added that in view of this, the Director General of the Center had been instructed to refer matters requiring the attention of the Board of Trustees to the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare, until that a new board of directors be reconstituted.
Consequently, all the committees, technical committees and other similar bodies created are also concerned.
