ELKINS — Applications are being accepted for a new training course known as Leadership Randolph, introduced by the Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce.
In announcing the creation of Leadership Randolph, the Chamber said the new initiative aims to “developing and preparing leaders to move Randolph County forward”, an E-RCCC press release said.
Leadership Randolph is a nine-month course that will run one day per month, from September 2022 to June 2023.
“Participants will participate in leadership training while gaining an understanding of economic development, manufacturing, government, education, healthcare, tourism, and more.” states of release.
The Chamber anticipates that this first Randolph Leadership Class will have between 10 and 15 participants. Applications are now being accepted for the inaugural class.
There is a tuition fee to participate and group members must commit to attending each session. A culminating dinner and celebration will take place on the day of the final session in June 2023.
